It has long been recognised that volunteering has many benefits, not just for the church, but also for young people themselves. However, there are things to consider when it comes to safeguarding the young people while they serve.  Gavin chats with Anna Wood from Cornerstone Collective to discuss this topic and provide some helpful points for your consideration.

 

God is the ultimate communicator who sent his only son down from Heaven to minister to us in ways we could understand. As church communicators we need to ensure our communications are up to scratch.  I love the fact that our day to day social media posts might be the start of someones salvation story. 

 

 

 

This week Gavin got the opportunity to talk with the Operations Director from the Cornerstone Collective, a group of churches based in Liverpool. Anna plays a significant role in serving these churches behind the scenes. Cornerstone Collective are passionate about reaching people with the gospel in Merseyside area and have adopted a different church planting model to what we have seen before. Really Interesting Stuff!
